Stratford Leads From Start to Finish

The Stratford University Men's Basketball team led from the opening tip to the final buzzer on Sunday night, in defeating Thomas Nelson 77-54.  Ronald Davis led the Cardinals with 16 points and 9 rebounds.  Kendall Marshall added 12 points, Jamonte Ricks 11 points and 9 rebounds and Dominque Williams, getting the start for an injured DeAndre Demiel added 10 points.  Kendell Shepherd posted a game high 6 assists.  

The Cardinals shot 50.8% from the field for the game and 91.7% from the free throw line, while outscoring the Gators 48-12 in the paint in the victory.  

Stratford improves to 18-4 on the year and returns to action on Monday night with the season finale, a 6:00 pm tip off against Blue Lights College.
