Softball signs first three commitments

Coach Lindsay Enders and Stratford University have officially announced the signing of the first three Lady Cardinal Softball players.  Alexis Elledge of Smithfield High School (Smithfield, VA), Stranisha Darden of Southampton High School (Courtland, VA) and Isabella Gairbaldi of Mountain View High School (Stafford, VA) have all officially committed to play softball for Startford University.  "I am extremely proud that these three student-athletes have chosen to become a part of our inaugural softball team", said Coach Enders.  "As we continue to build our program, Alexis, Isabella and Stranisha are now a part of the foundation that will help us as we embark on our quest for a Region 10 championship and our ultimate goal of winning a National Championship".  The Lady Cardinals begin play in 2018 as a Division 1 School competing in Region 10 of the NJCAA.  All home games will be played at the Stoney Run Softball Complex in Newport News, VA.
